Everglow is collaborating with HAL Investments, under the name SB Real Estate, on this extreme make-over of De Aarhof shopping centre in Alphen aan den Rijn. In close cooperation with the municipality, we are working on renewing the heart of the city centre. From shopping centre to people centre. De Aarhof is located in the best spot at the heart of Alphen aan den Rijn. The years have taken their toll and the concept has grownold and worn. Time for an extreme make-over. The shopping centre is being given a total transformation, turning it into a sustainable, dynamic, multifunctional place where you can live, work, shop and meet up. An inviting place, for every Alphen resident, a place for every day.
We are going to turn De Aarhof from a single purpose shopping centre with mainly clothing stores into one with a wide range of shops for daily shopping: two full-service supermarkets, a Hema department store and a high-quality fresh produce and food market, on a central square which serves as a meeting place, with a warm and inviting appearance. The more than 300 new rental and owner-occupier apartments in the renovated city centre will provide permanent vibrancy. The apartments are available in various types, sizes and price classes. At least half of the homes are aimed at the mid-market. A wonderful place for everyone, from starter to senior, in the city centre and surrounded by every amenity.
De Aarhof is very easily accessible. There will be 770 parking spaces and no charge for the first 90 minutes of parking. Construction is expected to start mid-2024.
