From Woonboulevard Arnhem to Retail Park Arnhem

Woonboulevard Arnhem was built in the early 1990s and little has changed since then. The layout of the site and the appearance of the buildings were outdated, worn and uninviting to consumers.

These are precisely the locations where Everglow’s expertise comes into its own: dusting off forgotten real estate and breathing new life into special places that deserve better. We did this in Arnhem by paying close attention to the quality and appearance of the location and creating a suitable mix of shops and facilities. And by making the buildings much more sustainable, we have further strengthened their future-proofing.

Transformation

Woonboulevard Arnhem has been transformed into Retail Park Arnhem. This has been achieved by attracting new tenants, expanding the range of shops and carrying out a complete façade renovation.

This goes hand in hand with making the location more sustainable based on BREEAM, which includes removing gas connections and installing solar panels. After the solar panels have been installed, Retail Park Arnhem will have BREEAM Very Good certification.

New façades with a brass-coloured wide belt as an eye-catcher and connection between the buildings give Retail Park Arnhem a fresh, contemporary look. In addition, the previously abundant and incoherent advertising expressions have been replaced by new expressions that are enclosed like buckles on the brass-coloured belt. Powerful and unambiguous advertising fits in with the concept of “big box retail”.

The transformation of Woonboulevard Arnhem into a future-proof and sustainable retail park is a joint venture between Everglow and Belgian investor Mitiska REIM. Woonboulevard Arnhem was acquired in July 2021.
